She was a professional dentist until therapeutic massage caught her attention. She started to master the discipline of massage therapy at the Houston School of Massage, an institution that offers a multi-media approach to education in which all student learning styles (auditory, visual, and tactile-kinesthetic) are supported.

Mattei has been a ‘Master Massage Therapist’ for three years. She has been performing massages for four years but it wasn’t until 2020 that she acquired her license.

Maria Gabriela said that she likes to work actively to continue training, improve her techniques and add value to her service.
